SANAA, March 3 (Saba) - Minister of Oil and Minerals Ahmed Daress on Tuesday met with Acting Director of Office of UN Envoy for Yemen Ayman Makki.

The meeting dealt with the arbitrary practices carried out by Saudi-led aggression coalition through preventing the entry of fuel and food ships to the port of Hodeidah, despite obtaining licenses from the United Nations.

In the meeting, the Minister of Oil renewed the call for the United Nations to pressure the aggression coalition to stop holding the oil derivatives ships and facilitate their entry to the port of Hodeidah.

The meeting touched on the implications of detaining oil derivative ships on the humanitarian situation in Yemen.

Makki confirmed the UN Envoy office's readiness to make more efforts to release the detained ships in order to contribute to meeting the citizens' needs and alleviating their suffering.
