CARE begins distributing cash aid in Maswar district in Amran

AMRAN, July 22 (Saba) - Cash aid in the district of Maswar in Amran province has been begun to distribute cash aid to the displaced and impoverished families and host community, funded by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs office (OCHA) in the implementation of CARE's Global Office in the province.

The aid targets 1,137 poor and displaced families and the host community in the district in the province, which also came in coordination with the Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation.

'The worsening humanitarian situation in Yemen calls on humanitarian and international organizations working in the province to redouble efforts and intervene to meet the needs of society,' said Hamir al-Sa'ar, director of the local council's branch in the province.
