PM stresses importance of Shura Council efforts related to general governmental activity
SANA'A, Jan. 03 (Saba) - Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor on Sunday stressed the importance of the efforts undertaken by the Shura Council within its constitutional powers and tasks, foremost of which are those related to general government activity.
This came during his meeting in Sana'a with the Speaker of the Shura Council, Mohammed Al-Aidarous, his deputy Abdo Al-Janadi, and a number of heads of the Council's specialized committees.
The complementary relations between the Cabinet and the Shura Council towards the current challenges, as well as the joint mechanism for implementing the presidential directives related to common issues were reviewed during the meeting.
The meeting also touched on the role of the Shura Council in conveying the grievance of the Yemeni people to many counterpart councils at the regional and continental levels.
