YPC organizes protest at UN office
SANA'A, Feb. 06 (Saba) - Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC) on Friday organized a protest in front of the United Nations office in Sana'a.
The company confirmed, in a statement, that the held ships, nearly 12, loaded with oil derivatives and prevented from docking at the port of Hodeida.
The company considered this detention as an explicit violation of the provisions of the International Convention on Human Rights and the rules of international humanitarian law and all applicable laws and customs.
The statement pointed out that the fuel crisis is worsening the human suffering as a result of the insistence of the countries of aggression to continue their crime of detaining oil ships under an international cover without paying any attention to the humanitarian situation in the country.
