Ministry continues to register expatriates' data
SANA'A, Feb. 14 (Saba) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Expatriates Affairs for Regulating Immigration and Work Abroad Sector, confirmed that the ministry is continuing to receive citizens wishing to travel to countries of emigration.
Mohsen Falah explained the ministry is working to establish a database for Yemeni expatriates by filling out a form that includes the expatriates' personal data.
He pointed out that establishing a database for expatriates aims to count the number of expatriates, facilitate their arrival and follow up their cases abroad.
Falah also indicated the number of expatriates registered is approximately 26,000 from December 22nd until today.
The Ministry of Expatriates Affairs had called on relevant authorities to cooperate and facilitate the task of registering expatriates' data for the purpose of preparing their database.
