Telecommunications Minister: We seek to real partnership with mobile phone operators
SANA'A, Jan. 03 (Saba) - Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology, Mesfer Abdullah Al-Numair, said on Sunday that his ministry seeks to establish a real partnership with mobile phone operators.
This came during a workshop held in Sana'a and organized by the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology, with the participation of mobile phone operators, to discuss ways to enrich the numbering resource allocation instructions.
In the workshop, the minister noted that the ministry is seeking to strengthen the partnership with mobile operators in order to preserve the sovereignty and security of the country, protect subscribers, and develop the telecommunications sector.
Mesfer called on mobile phone operators to build a serious relationship based on commitment and responsibility.
The minister stressed the necessity for telecommunications equipment to be subject to the quality specifications and required approved standards, in line with the needs of the telecommunications market.
He confirmed that the year 2021 would be the year of organizing and improving telecommunications services.
