Taiz health office launches training course for health workers
TAIZ, Feb. 17 (Saba) - The Public Health and Population Office in Taiz province launched on Wednesday a foundational training course for health workers in the immunization program.
The 11-days training course will be implemented by the Bena Foundation for Development and funded by UNICEF.
The course is part of a project to strengthen health and nutrition services and emergency cholera response in Taiz, Ibb, and Dhale' provinces.
Around 24 trainees of health workers will get acquainted with knowledge about safe vaccination standards, the role of immunization service providers, vaccination schedules, vaccinable diseases, side effects of the vaccine, and vaccination contraindications.
