President discusses with Dhamar governor improving agriculture performance

SANA'A, May 17 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council on Tuesday met governor of Dhamar Mohammad al-Bukhaiti.

During the meeting, al-Mashat and al-Bukhaiti discussed the situation in the province, the level of implementation of its plan for the current year, and how to improve the service and development performance as well as how to overcome the current difficulties.

They touched on the service and development projects that have been implemented to alleviate the suffering of citizens as a result of the continued aggression and siege.

President al-Mashat stressed the importance of redoubling efforts to improve the level of services and touch the needs of citizens and work to meet them according to the available capabilities.

Al-Mashat pointed to the need to pay attention to the agricultural aspect, to cooperate with the Higher Agricultural and Fisheries Committee, and to encourage and support farmers to achieve self-sufficiency.
