YGC: Gas vessel to arrive in Hodeida port after being detained 20 days
(Saba) - Yemen Gas Company (YGC) confirmed on Thursday that the gas vessel 'Claudia Gas' loaded with 8,249 metric tons of imported gas will arrive at the port of Hodeida in the coming hours.
Yemen Gas Company spokesman Ali Me'asar told SABA that the vessel's release came after it had been detained for 20 days by the aggression coalition.
The aggression coalition continued to engage in maritime piracy on oil and gas derivatives vessels and their seizure, thereby compounding citizens' suffering.
Me'asar pointed out that the process of unloading the vessel will be initiated by the technical, financing and commercial team, commissioned by the company, upon its arrival.
