Oil Minister receives Japanese Ambassador

Manama, Aug. 7 (BNA): Oil and Environment Minister and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina received Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Miyamoto Masayuki.

The minister commended the efforts exerted by the envoy to enhance Bahraini-Japanese relations in various fields, including cooperation between the Bahraini and Japanese oil companies.

Dr. Bin Daina affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Japan to benefit from its expertise in technology.

The meeting reviewed projects in the energy sector, environmental initiatives and opportunities to enhance investment cooperation.

The ambassador affirmed Japan's keenness to develop its cooperation with the Kingdom in all fields, especially in the environment and oil sectors.

He lauded the development of the energy sectorin Bahrain that supports the Kingdom's developmental process.
