Telecom official says Yemen Mobile stations out of service for torrential rains

HAJJAH, Aug. 21 (Saba) - A number of telecom stations and Yemen Mobile stations went out of service in a number of districts in Hajjah province due to torrential rains.

Director of the branch of the Public Communications Corporation in Hajjah Eng. Sami al-Khatib said the torrential rains damaged 10 stations belonging to Yemen Mobile and cut the cable linking the cities of Abs and Shafar area in Abs district, which led to the shortages of service for a number of districts in the province.

Al-Khatib stressed that the technical teams are carrying out their work in repairing the damage caused by the torrential rains, provided that the repairs will be completed within the coming hours, stressing keenness to restore the communications service to citizens as soon as possible.
