Transport Minister confirms opening of new destinations for flights

SANA'A, Aug. 28 (Saba) - Minister of Transport Abdelwahab al-Durra has confirmed the opening of new destinations for flights through Sana'a International Airport in the coming period, according to the humanitarian truce.

Minister Al-Durra, in a meeting held at Sana'a International Airport on Saturday, explained that the expansion of new destinations for flights is required, and the United Nations, should implement it on the ground to alleviate the suffering of Yemenis traveling in general and the sick in particular.

He also stressed Sana'a Airport's operational readiness to receive new flights and destinations technically and professionally, ensuring the safety and security of civil aviation in accordance with international requirements and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
