Animal health burns 40 cartons of veterinary medicines

SANA'A, Sep. 01 (Saba) - The Department of Veterinary Quarantine of the General Administration of Animal Health and Veterinary Quarantine at the Ministry of Agriculture has burnt 40 cartons of veterinary medicines due to their non-compliance with specifications.

Director of Animal Health Ahmed al-Qadari said a specialized team from the Department destroyed veterinary medicines that did not conform to the specifications after conducting laboratory tests, noting that the destruction process was carried out with the participation of the Public Prosecution and Environmental Health.

Al-Qadari pointed out that the tasks of the Department include monitoring and following up on everything related to livestock in accordance with Law No. 17 of 2004 regarding the organization and protection of livestock.
