400 food baskets to needy families in Capital distributed

(Saba) - The Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the capital Sana'a has distributed food baskets to poor and needy families in al-Thawra district in the capital Sana'a.

Representative of the Supreme Council in the district Ahlam al-Hayasi said 400 food baskets to the targeted families are distributed, funded by al-Mawtin Organization {Citizen Organization} to alleviate the suffering of the poor and needy in the capital Sana'a.

Al-Hayasi stressed the importance of promoting social solidarity and implementing such charitable projects that contribute to supporting poor, needy and displaced families, especially in light of the continuing aggression and siege.
