Dubai International (DXB) welcomed back one of the hub's long time airline partners Cathay Pacific as the carrier resumed operations between Hong Kong and Dubai with an inaugural flight on May 20.

Cathay is operating one weekly non-stop flight between the two destinations on an Airbus A330-300. The route recorded just over 1 million in annual passenger traffic in 2019.

DXB is currently serving 63 per cent of destinations in 88 per cent of the countries via 76 per cent of the airlines compared to the period before the Covid-19 pandemic.
